In the book, “The Curious Garden” by Peter Brown, Liam discovers some plants growing near an old railway. Finding the plants, in an unexpected place, inspired Liam to begin gardening. He nurtured the plants and soon a beautiful garden grew. Preserving and protecting our world keeps it safe, healthy, and more beautiful. If you could grow your own garden, in an unexpected place, where would you grow it? In remote learning today, second-grade students are drawing where their unexpected garden would grow? |
If I had a garden in an unexpected place, I would choose to grow it on top of my car. I think people would smile when they see it!
