The fifth grade students created our game board for the "Art Game." Each class has a game piece and will advance in the game by following the Art Room Expectations: During our staff opening day presentation, Dr. Bein shared with us the picture book "Yes Day!" by Amy Krouse Rosenthal and Tom Lichtenheld. I just loved the idea of transferring this into the art room. When each class gets to the final game board space, they will earn a "Yes Day." On this day, students will have a studio choice-based art class where they get to create whatever they would like to make. The students are excited by the idea! I wonder which class will earn their "Yes Day" first?!
