In remote learning today, second-grade students are creating 5 different texture rubbings. They will create each texture rubbing by first finding something that has an interesting texture and then placing a piece of paper directly on it. They will then rub over it with the side of a crayon or pencil to transfer the texture onto their paper. I went around my house and backyard looking for textures and found 5 that interest me the most! I then used different colored crayons when rubbing and transferring the texture onto the paper. In remote learning today, third-grade students are creating their own puzzle. I chose to create a puzzle out of my texture rubbings. I cut each piece using a small paper cutter.
