Fourth grade students gave each other feedback on their compositions for their modeling clay leaf relief. Students considered overlapping, variety in leaf shapes, and negative space. Students, after feedback, drew their final composition on cardboard and used modeling clay to create their bas-relief (low-relief) carving. We then sealed them with Mod-Podge.
